Overview
Temple projects come to us at very different scales — a small family or community temple on a residential plot, up to a larger neighbourhood temple with a proper mandapa and pradakshina path. In every case, we start from the traditional proportioning system relevant to the deity and tradition involved, and work with the client's pandit or trust committee on placement and orientation before any modern design decision is layered on.
"Modern" in this context usually means the construction technique and finish — RCC framework instead of pure load-bearing stone, contemporary lighting and drainage, durable finishes for Jamshedpur's monsoon — while the form, proportion and sanctity of the traditional layout stay intact. We don't treat modern and traditional as opposites; the building just needs to last, drain properly, and read as a temple, not a monument with a dome stuck on.
