Temple design has rules that are not ours to reinterpret loosely. We work within them, and add the structure, drainage and durability a modern building needs.
A temple is not an ordinary building. Orientation, garbhagriha placement and the proportions of the shikhara all carry meaning, and a community needs to feel that its temple has been designed with respect. At the same time, the building has to drain properly, stand for generations and handle festival crowds. As a modern temple design architect in Bhagalpur, our work sits where those two needs meet.
Projects come to us at different scales, from a family temple on a residential plot to a neighbourhood or trust-run temple with a mandapa and parikrama path. We begin with the traditional proportioning system relevant to the deity and tradition, and work with your pandit or trust committee on placement and orientation before modern design choices are layered on. We serve Bhagalpur from our Jamshedpur studio.

Garbhagriha position, entrance direction and shikhara proportion are settled first with guidance from your pandit or committee. The architecture serves the tradition, not the other way round.

We plan for festival-day footfall, not just a quiet weekday: seating, footwear storage, queue movement and pradakshina space are all drawn into the plan.

RCC framing gives durability and faster construction than pure stone masonry. Stone or stone-finish cladding, carving and a traditional palette keep the visual language intact.
Placement and proportion follow established temple design principles.
Roof drainage and waterproofing are detailed carefully for Bhagalpur's heavy rains.
We work with trusts and committees through design approval, not just a single client.
Stone, carving and finishes are planned alongside the main construction.
Temple sites near the Ganga and low-lying areas call for careful plinth height, foundation design and drainage. We also plan for crowd safety on festival days, with proper entry and exit routes and space around the sanctum. Religious and ritual decisions are made by your pandit or trust. We handle the architecture and construction.
Bhagalpur sits on the Ganga plains. Plinth height, drainage and waterproofing deserve more attention here than a standard plan allows for.
Summers are hot and humid and monsoons are heavy, so cross-ventilation, shaded openings and roof drainage are designed in from the first sketch.
Bihar is a high seismic region, so we plan column grids and structural coordination with that in mind and bring in your structural engineer early.
Our studio is in Jamshedpur. We are upfront about that, and we have set up a process that works well for clients in Bhagalpur and nearby towns.
We are based in Jamshedpur, so we visit your Bhagalpur plot in planned trips. The visit covers measurements, road access, neighbours and soil clues, and is scheduled around your convenience.
Layout options, drawings and material choices are reviewed over video calls and WhatsApp, so you can decide from home or from wherever you live and work.
Plans, sections, elevations and detail sheets are clear enough for a Bhagalpur contractor and structural engineer to work from without guessing.
We work with your local contractor, mason and structural engineer, and clarify drawings with them directly so site instructions match the plan.

Dreams & Designs Project
Dreams & Designs Project
Dreams & Designs ProjectIt usually refers to construction technique and finish, such as RCC framing, better drainage and lighting. The traditional form, proportion and sanctity of the layout stay intact.
We design to the tradition relevant to your temple and consult your pandit or committee. We do not impose a style.
Yes. We design home mandirs, society temples and larger community temples.
We plan carving and stone work with the main construction and coordinate with your chosen craftsmen through drawings and site discussions.
